OSHA Recommendation
OSHA recommends that employers ensure trained First Aid and CPR responders are available when medical services are not readily accessible to the worksite. This is especially relevant for industrial, manufacturing, and construction environments where response times may be delayed or where higher-risk activities are present (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151 and 29 CFR 1926.50).
This training helps employers meet OSHA expectations by preparing workers to respond to injuries and sudden illnesses, reducing the severity of incidents and improving workplace emergency readiness.
