OSHA Recommendation

OSHA requires that powered industrial truck operators be trained, evaluated, and certified by the employer or a qualified trainer before operating a forklift. OSHA also requires refresher training and re-evaluation when unsafe operation is observed, workplace conditions change, or different equipment is introduced (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178).

This training helps employers meet OSHA expectations while reducing incidents, property damage, and injuries.
